Tugela Falls Overnight Hike

This is one of the most popular hikes in South Africa, famous for having the World's Tallest Waterfall. The views are absolutely insane, definitely a bucket list Hike worth doing.

Location: Wietsiehoek Mountain Lodge is where we will meet up.

Time: 9.30am. will be back the next day at around 11.30am.

Difficulty: Intermediate (We will have some options, where we can provide you with a porter to carry your heavier items eg. Tent and Food.

Please Note there is two chain ladder which we will climb to reach the summit, one is 35m and the other is 15m so if your very afraid of heights then please do not attempt this hike as it will ruin the experience for other hikers.

Distance: 6Km there and 6km back the next day. Should take +- 2-3 hours to arrive at camping spot.

Cost: R1499pp (Includes entry fees, permits, 4x4shuttle, two guides) - Please Note there will be other packages if you would like meals provided or someone to assist with carrying your heavy items.

What you will Need:

1. Sleeping Bag + Sleeping Mat/Pad
2. Hiking Tent (these Tents are lightweight and durable against heavy winds) a good recommendation would be the K-Way Nerolite Tents.
3. Touch or Headlamp
4. Food to eat for lunch, supper + breakfast. (We will have a catered option for those who would like us to supply all the meals hence making your bag alot lighter)
5. Warm Jacket + Beanie
6. Poncho Raincoat (the weather is unpredictable so it's always best to be prepared)
7. Cutlery (Cup, Spoon, Fork, bowl etc)
8. Hand sanitizer
9. Hiking Stove + Gas (if your planning on making cooked food)
