Come explore a hidden gem in Karkloof. This location is 50 Mins from Piertermaritzburg. This is one of the most stunning hikes you probably have never heard about. This hike has a beautiful forest ending at the magical Grey Mares Tail Waterfall. There is a short gravel road before Shawswood but easily accessible with any vehicle.
Time: 8.00am - 12.30pm (Please try be punctual as the signal is very limited at Shawswood)
Location: Shawswood (Karkloof) - 20 Mins from Howick.
Distance: 6Km
Difficulty: 2/5 - Advanced Beginner. We have done this with beginners in the past, if you haven't walked or done any exercise in a while you might feel challenged on this one.
